The Search is Over.....For Now

A little over 2 years ago, I sold my beloved 99 Corvette, something that I soon came to regret after the sale. The moment I saw my car drive away with a joyful and excited new owner heading back to Kentucky, I realized that I sold an excellent Corvette that I had never really enjoyed myself. I was caught up in the idea of keeping a car perfect, so that meant not driving it in any bad weather, (rain, cloudy days that could rain, rain in the forecast, etc.) parking it in places that took 15 minutes to walk to when I could have parked right in front of the shop, 8 hr detail jobs so that it could sit in my garage under a car cover. I loved that car and made it into a Garage Queen. I had put only 10,000 miles on the car in 10 years. Other Corvettes I had enjoyed. With the other cars, I went on outings, car shows, trips and just about anything that you do with a sports car. However, this '99 was too new and had no blemishes, marks, scrapes, curb rash, so I had to be extra careful and not ruin its value. Little did I know that I had already lowered its value just by owning the car and there would be normal depreciation regardless how I cared for my Corvette. I have learned form my past mistakes. I will totally enjoy this 2002 Corvette, take good care of it and DRIVE THE WHEELS OFF OF IT !!!!

3rd. Anniversary of EMW by Jim Ehrlich

We started Ehrlich Motorwerks in July of 2011 in Siloam Springs Arkansas. One of the most frequently asked questions by our customers is "Why Siloam Springs"  First, it is Michael's home town, it had an affordable facility with an indoor showroom and it was a perfect fit for our Retail and Internet business.

Tulsa Auto Auction

We haven't been to a Classic Car Auction since April so we decided to head to Tulsa for theirs in June. Two cars in particular were of interest to us, the first being a 1954 Jaguar XK120 roadster and second, a 1960 Jaguar XK150 coupe. I know its a tough job to have to look at classic cars on a Saturday but we were up to the task. There were plenty of cars to look at and inspect and I have listed below some of the ones that caught our attention. The Auction itself was difficult due to the fact that they ran two auction sites next to each other at the same time. This made for a confusing scene of noise, distractions and difficult to keep my attention on what the bid was and what car we where going to bid on. We left without purchasing a vehicle but it was a learning experience for us both. Written by Jim Ehrlich
